Abituata a creare intensi dialoghi fra diverse forme espressive, Francesca Moscheni sottolinea la delicatezza di una immagine e la isola in uno spazio che riempie dei frammenti di una fotografia strappata. Che la carta scopra o nasconda, l’autrice lo rivela accostando alle immagini oggetti appoggiati su un cartoncino nero, oppure intervenendo con una violenta lacerazione: quella della carne che da sotto emana lampi di un rosso fiammeggiante.

Since she's accustomed to creating intense interrelations between different forms of expressions, Francesca Moscheni highlights the delicacy of an image and she isolates it into a space filled with fragments of ripped up photographs. Whether the paper unveils or hides, the author reveals it by either matching images together with objects laid on black cardboard or by inflicting a brutal laceration: that very same laceration of the flesh through which flaming red lightnings overflow.
